In honor of Czech Heritage Month and to celebrate Czech National Day, we are pleased to welcome back the Apollo Chamber Players for our 9th Annual Czech Heritage Concert.

The �鶹��Ʒ invites you to be part of history!

To celebrate the ongoing CCMH Bike Challenge, we will take on a special 19.18 km “Ride to Remember” along the Buffalo Bayou Bike Trail. Whether you’re Czech, Czech-at-heart, or simply love a good ride, this event is for YOU.

Robert Cremins will lead us in a lively discussion of Bohumil Hrabal’s All My Cats.

This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking in adjacent lots. Additional street parking is available on Wichita and Rosedale

Students of all ages are invited to visit the CCMH's exhibits for free on the second Saturday of each month. Students must bring a current school ID card.

Czech That Film Texas presents comedy/drama THE GARDENER’S YEAR (Zahradníkův rok) on Tuesday, September 30 at River Oaks Theater (2009 W Gray St).

Witness the vibrant energy of 38 talented young musicians from the award winning ZUŠ Kyjov Cimbál Ensemble. Hailing from Kyjov, a town renowned for its lively cimbálová muzika scene, they’ll showcase authentic Moravian traditions with lovely melodies and traditional costumes.

Tradiční Zářijová Grilovačka se bude konat opět v září už celkem tradičně v Bayou Parkland Pavilion v Hermann Parku. Začátek ve 3:00pm, konec po západu slunce.

Witness amazing young talent reaching new heights of artistry. Duo of DACAMERA Young Artists —violinist Yu-Ming Ma and pianist Isaac Foreman— will present works by Czech composers in memory of the Lidice massacre. Jonathan Mak joins for Dvořák’s Sonatina in G Major.

The Nazi destruction of Lidice in 1942 —announced in grim headlines around the world—sparked a powerful global response from artists, writers, filmmakers, and workers. Though Lidice could have been lost amid the many atrocities of World War II, it instead became a lasting symbol of resistance.

Celebrate with good friends and good music as Stříbrňanka serenades audiences at the �鶹��Ʒ. Featuring traditional dechovka music and favorite brass arrangements, with Czech beers (plus root beer!) - it’s an evening of fun the whole family will enjoy.
